During his career of over 25 years, Kirk has acquired the experience to effectively handle a broad range of cases. He has successfully concluded hundreds of cases relating to automobile wrecks, work-place injuries, and fraudulent conduct. Kirk was co-counsel in a trial that resulted in the largest business fraud verdict in Alabama at that time. He has been lead counsel in a successful class action settlement on behalf of thousands of consumers. He has also been in the forefront of ground-breaking automotive products liability cases. He is also a talented negotiator and is a certified mediator in Alabama.

Kirk earned his Juris Doctor in 1979 from the University of Alabama and was admitted to the bar in Alabama that same year. He is a member of the Birmingham and Alabama Bar Associations, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the Alabama Trial Lawyers Association. He is a member of the Executive Committee and past Chairman of the Statewide Local Seminar Committee.
