Pat Lavette has handled literally hundreds of cases for injured people in a practice that spans over twenty years. Several of the more serious cases have resulted in verdicts and settlements in the multiple millions of dollars.

Pat's background includes work with both a large defense firm and a large plaintiff law firm, giving him a unique perspective. He has been in an exclusively plaintiff's practice since 1989. Pat is a gifted legal strategist who works closely with his partners to take full advantage of opportunities for significant recoveries.

An Alabama native, Pat graduated from the University of Virginia, with distinction, in 1980 and earned his Juris Doctor in 1984 from the University of Alabama where he was a member of the Editorial Board of the Alabama Law Review. He is a member of the Birmingham and Alabama Bar Associations, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the Alabama Trial Lawyers Association. His areas of practice include Personal Injury, Wrongful Death, Products Liability, General Litigation, Insurance Fraud, Property Condemnation and Eminent Domain. He has been a frequent lecturer and contributor to continuing legal education programs.
